This two-day conference will feature a range of experts covering such topics as prevention and risk reduction, identification and assessment as well as treatment and support services. On Friday, June 27 at 9:30 a.m., Dr. Margaret Spinelli will deliver
the keynote speech titled The Promise of Saved Lives: Recognition,
Prevention and Rehabilitation. Dr. Spinelli is editor of Infanticide:
Psychosocial and Legal Perspectives on Mothers Who Kill, an educational
tool for professionals working in the legal, social service, mental
health or medical fields. She is also a noted expert in postpartum
depression and psychosis and has testified in numerous court cases.
