There will be  occasions when representatives of the media will be on premises

• To cover a special event
• To interview a researcher or other staff person

At all such times the Institute will take appropriate measures to balance the rights of the press with those of our patients, staff and visitors.

• All media entering the facility will be cleared by the Public Affairs Office before proceeding beyond the front desk - where they will present identification and sign-in. 
• No patients may be photographed or have their voices recorded without prior informed consent.
• In the event of large gatherings of media, Safety and Security staff will maintain clear passage at driveways, exits, etc.
• Special attention is paid to sensitive areas.

Additional Security staffing may be required at these times.
